The Committee Colander went to the Portsmouth SSAGO (PUGS) Committee for their excellent service to their club during 2023-24.
The Portsmouth SSAGO (PUGS) Committee have been awarded the Committee Colander for their dedication to their club in 2023-24. In light of many challenges, the Portsmouth committee have gone above and beyond to ensure the success of their club throughout the year, increasing the club’s membership and creating a fun and engaging environment for those members. The Chair and Secretary worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organise meetings and events, and Treasurer and SSAGO Rep facilitated more members coming to Rallies, with 11 of their members travelling over 250 miles each way to Rally Through Time.
In addition to this, the committee have been dedicated to engaging with volunteering in their local community. Throughout the year, many of their members took up an active role as both Scout and Guide leaders, including all four committee members, who still provided excellent services to PUGS alongside this. It is for these reasons that the new Team Pink have awarded the Portsmouth SSAGO Committee the Committee Colander.
